Congress has extended the Acute Hospital Care at Home initiative through Dec. 31, 2024! Section 4140 of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2023 included a provision to ensure hospital at home remains available to Medicare and Medicaid fee-for-service patients for an additional two years. Now is the time to ensure state governments also authorize hospital at home care for all patients!
